Acute Care Nurse

Verovian Agency is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Valdez, Alaska. As an Acute Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care by established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-hospital care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Current RN license in the state of Alaska.
- Minimum of one year of job-related experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
