Job Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support for high-school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student initial and re-evaluations, including testing
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies
  • Collaborate with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Nevada

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, particularly with elementary-aged students, is preferred
  • Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances
  • Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education
