Job Summary

The Area Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, and construction or rehabilitation projects for a defined area of apartment communities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for apartment communities
  • Manage maintenance staff and ensure they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules
  • Collaborate with community managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on new procedures and equipment
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance operations
