Position Summary


To innovate and refine product designs while complying with established organizational protocols and standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate various mechanical systems and components, including structural frameworks, suspension mechanisms, and vehicle chassis.
  • Generate, modify, and assess mechanical schematics and 3D representations.
  • Ensure that designs align with safety, efficiency, and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct evaluations and testing for validation purposes.
  • Follow project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance design workflows.
  • Travel as necessary for product introductions and coordination with manufacturers.
  • Maintain safety standards and report any incidents in a timely manner.
  • Engage in relevant training initiatives.
  • Exhibit sound business judgment and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
  • Work closely with various departments to surpass expectations.
  • Flexibility to assume additional duties as required.

Must have:
  • A drive for advancement and continuous education.
  • Basic familiarity with 3D modeling software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Mechanical understanding and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Intermediate skills in 3D modeling software.
  • Knowledge of engineering analysis tools and standards.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Familiarity with motor theory and lean methodologies.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as necessary.

Required Experience
  • No prior experience required.

Preferred Experience
  • Background in 3D modeling and practical mechanical work.
  • Experience with machining and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Previous work with comparable products.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Education
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Required Qualifications
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
