Critical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.

The successful candidate will provide direct care for patients in our critical care departments, rounding on patients and entering brief progress notes as needed. They will work closely with the nocturnal intensivist to develop treatment plans for new and existing patients.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is a regional referral center offering a wide range of medical services to residents of Southern Oregon and Northern California. Our 378-bed hospital combines high-tech capabilities with a skilled medical staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program
  • Licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) or certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs

Competencies:

  • Prior experience with high acuity ICU patients
  • Ability to analyze problems, recognize causes, and devise solutions
  • Procedural competency, including central line, arterial line placement, and HD line placements
