We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer Technician to join our team at Softworld Inc. in Hunt Valley, MD.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and testing complex electronic systems, including printed circuit boards, power supplies, and RF components. They will also be responsible for diagnosing and correcting equipment malfunctions and writing specifications for electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test complex electronic systems, including printed circuit boards, power supplies, and RF components.
- Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
- Write specifications for electronic systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop testing new products or test processes.
- Work with a team to execute manufacturing schedules and maintain a safe lab test station environment.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of electronics, physics, and math.
- Ability to comprehend specifications, production requirements, procedures, and production drawings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant military experience in electronic equipment or applicable trade school training.
- RF or EO/IR experience.
