We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Cyber Systems Engineer to support fast-paced operational projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of the program's technical strategy and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Track and coordinate active mission planning, CONOPs, and integration exercises with partners, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
- Provide proactive assessments of vendor's Integrated Master Schedule, identifying and tracking critical path of development activities, and documenting and driving action items to completion.
- Interface with operations teams to understand current and future operational requirements, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
- Identify program and technical risks, working with COTRs and project leads to mitigate and address these risks.
- Assist with planning, facilitating, and supporting offsite quarterly meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Take detailed notes and provide written summaries of meetings and discussions, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Develop operational relationships across organizational boundaries, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Coordinate operational test and training activities, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
- Manage program procurement and logistics, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
- Resolve issues through TEMs, cross-organizational coordination, and other appropriate methods, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
- Provide input to several organization-wide processes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Inform senior management through monthly status reports, budget reports and requests, and weekly highlights, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Proactively organize disparate information, identify underlying themes, synthesize key messages, and generate communication aides such as reports, briefings, and strategic plans.
- Familiarity with operational tempo of the customer and understand the unique constraints associated with operational systems engineering lifecycle.
- Strong project management skills to include cost/schedule/risk planning.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills.
- Experience writing technical requirements, statements of work, etc.
- Experience supporting acquisition process.
- Experience briefing technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience capturing minutes and tracking action items to completion.
- Be a team player and partner with engineering and operations integrators across the organization to achieve the mission.
- Work across organizational boundaries.
