Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Specialist to join our team at Farm Credit East. As a key member of our Farm Advisory Services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality tax services to our customers, ensuring their compliance with Federal and State tax laws, and driving business growth through proactive tax planning and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, including all other returns per ACA and regulatory standards
  • Deliver high-quality tax and accounting services to customers, motivating and enabling them to achieve their objectives
  • Contribute to the success of customer businesses and the Association through timely and accurate delivery of financial services
  • Actively cross-sell all Farm Credit East services and document in Agworx
  • Maintain knowledge of accounting standards, federal and state tax laws, and tax and records software programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in the agriculture industry preferred
  • Enrolled Agent Designation or CPA certification
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory
  • Passing Farm Credit East's Tax Specialist certification within one year of hiring required
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience, and hybrid work options after six months of employment. We also provide generous benefits, including a 6% 401K match, medical, dental, HSA, paid annual holiday and sick leave, FSA, life insurance, and a bonus incentive program.
