Role Summary:
Under the guidance of a registered nurse, the Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting advanced hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assisting physicians during various interventions. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors. Additionally, the specialist will provide training to cardiovascular technicians and other personnel within the catheterization laboratory. The role requires the completion of established competencies during the designated introductory period, along with other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program or equivalent educational background.
Experience: Required: Minimum of 2 years in an interventional catheterization lab or 2 years of electrophysiology experience.
Certifications: Required: RCIS or RCES; BLS; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
