Job Overview

Position Title: General Laborer

Compensation: $16/HR

Work Schedule: Two Shifts Available
5 AM to 1:30 PM
2:30 PM to 11 PM

Position Summary:

As a key member of our workforce at MGR Workforce, you will engage in essential tasks within a bustling lumber facility. Your primary responsibility will involve the systematic stacking of lumber, ensuring an organized workspace in a dynamic and noisy environment. It is crucial to remain vigilant and focused throughout your shift, as personal electronic devices are prohibited during work hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently organize and stack lumber following established warehouse protocols.
  • Strictly adhere to safety regulations and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets.
Qualifications:
  • Must arrive punctually and be prepared to start work at least 5 minutes before scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds, demonstrating good physical endurance.
  • Skilled in organizing and stacking lumber effectively.
  • Required to provide personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, hard hats, gloves, and safety goggles.
  • Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or sawmill is essential.
Additional Notes:
  • Personal electronic devices, including headphones and cell phones, are not permitted on the warehouse floor.
