Farm Operations Specialist
About the Company:At Midway, LLC, a family-owned company, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive services for commercial and residential properties.
We operate Graham and Tooze, a farm store, and manage two residential properties with diverse animals such as chickens, goats, alpacas, sheep, horses, and more.
Salary Information:$19-23/hour, depending on experience.
Job Description:- Provide daily animal care, feeding, watering, monitoring, mucking stalls, cleaning dog kennels, and processing eggs.
- Maintain property cleanliness, including mowing, weed whacking, and landscaping.
- Operate farm equipment as required.
- Perform daily work order checks, record information in the company database, and maintain animal care paperwork.
- Learn and follow preventative maintenance procedures for buildings and adapt to new tasks as required.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with small and large farm animals, handling and medical care.
- Significant horse care experience.
- Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and office equipment skills.
- Physically able to walk, stand, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must pass a background check and have valid driver's license with appropriate insurance coverage.
