Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Transport patients to and from the department, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Schedule patients, answer questions, and communicate exam results to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a high standard of imaging and ensure that all images meet the required quality standards.
  • Handle multiple demands simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Provide excellent patient care, maintaining a helpful attitude towards patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
  • Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow and minimize wait times.
Requirements
  • Technical or Associate's degree in Sonography or a related field.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of relevant experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
