Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at National Retail Systems. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer truck to transport freight across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver freight to dedicated accounts on time and in good condition.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery and pickup operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.
  • Good stable work record and ability to work independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
Physical Demands
  • Extended periods of sitting and manual dexterity required for operating the vehicle.
  • Occasional heavy lifting and climbing into and out of the truck cab.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions during loading and unloading operations.
