Job Title: Immunotherapy and Scheduling Specialist LPN

Patriot Hospice is seeking an experienced LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to fill a challenging and rewarding position as an Immunotherapy and Scheduling Specialist.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Immunotherapy and Scheduling Specialist. This role will be responsible for scheduling patients for appointments, procedures, and immunotherapy treatments while ensuring that all necessary information and documentation are accurately completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure accuracy of medical records.
  • Responsible for preparing patients for examinations and procedures by providing clear instructions and answering questions regarding basic medical tests and procedures.
  • Confirm patient appointments and follow up with patients to ensure that they have received necessary information and materials.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on palliative care practices and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a palliative care environment.
  • Current LPN license for South Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of palliative care principles and practices, including pain management and symptom control.
  • Ability to travel within service areas as needed.

Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $60,000 per year
