School Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Based Clinician to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a School Based Clinician, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to students in a school setting, working collaboratively with district personnel to provide prevention, case management, and consultation services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling to students based on referral from school district staff.
- Provide training and information sessions for parents and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and risk factors.
- Facilitate groups within the schools and community as needed, utilizing evidence-based curricula.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams with educational staff, completing progress monitoring and providing services dictated by student IEPs.
- Perform screening assessments as required and participate in outcome initiatives.
- Provide individual counseling to students based on referral.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups within the schools.
- Accurately enter service documentation into the electronic health record and data into required reporting systems within established timeframes.
- Complete all necessary reports within established timeframes.
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention services.
- Develop strong working relationships with schools through respectful communication and accountability.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related human services discipline.
- Minimum of two years verified paid experience providing mental health treatment required.
- Current and valid driver's license required.
