Providence Saint Peter Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Med Surg/Tele (Oncology) department. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Med Surg/Tele (Oncology) unit, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg/Tele (Oncology) setting.
- Current BCLS certification and ONC certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
