About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Mission Critical and/or Industrial Controls with an emphasis in HVAC and/or Building Automation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing input to sales and operations regarding technical and business considerations for construction or direct owner projects.
  • Ensuring project documents, estimates, and other information are available to all necessary personnel to maximize Climatec's productivity on a project.
  • Determining if customer expectations align with Climatec's capabilities and providing feedback internally and externally as needed.
  • Accurately forecasting costs for each area of the project and tracking these over time to achieve budget and forecast goals.
  • Invoicing projects timely and actively engaging in collections to minimize aging.
  • Coordinating material orders and timing with Material Coordinators to maximize cash flow and material handling efficiency.
  • Coordinating with Subcontractors or internal installation teams to achieve maximum value in installations.
  • Completing the monthly WIP re-forecast.
  • Recommending technical solutions to sales and operations.
  • Assisting Sales teams during the estimating phase.
  • Identifying change order opportunities and coordinating with sales to document, pursue, and book them.
  • Providing support to Climatec and other contractors to solve building operating issues that go beyond controls or special systems operation.
