- Ensure all areas are free from unpleasant odors and are visually appealing.
- Clean and sanitize various locations including bathrooms, offices, lounges, and laboratories, following standard operating procedures.

Specific Duties:
- Perform thorough cleaning of beds, furniture, floors, and walls, ensuring compliance with cleaning guidelines.
- Replace linens using proper bed-making techniques and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness in non-patient areas by dusting, mopping, and vacuuming as required.
- Ensure that all dispensers are adequately stocked and report any repairs needed.
Waste Management:
- Collect soiled linens and dispose of them in secure bags.
- Manage trash disposal in a timely manner, ensuring all waste is placed in covered containers.
- Handle infectious waste according to safety protocols, ensuring proper double-bagging and disposal in designated bins.
Professional Standards:
- Exhibit ownership of work responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain compliance with Infection Control procedures and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with effective cleaning practices.

- Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card within the first month of employment (for specific employees).
