Job Summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team in Yankton, SD. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, improving existing ones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new products, including semiconductor devices and passive electronic components
  • Improve existing products by identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure smooth product launches
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on product design and development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in product development or design engineering
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor design and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
