Job Overview

Compensation Range:
$79,075 to $98,850 annually.

Oversee maintenance activities within the Processing, Packaging, and Rotisserie departments. Strategically plan and manage preventive maintenance as well as repair and overhaul tasks in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:


Organize work schedules and assign mechanical duties to support the preventive maintenance initiatives required by Production and USDA inspection teams.

Conduct regular on-site evaluations to ensure: adherence to safety protocols, maintenance of safe work environments, high standards of workmanship, and efficiency of repairs.

Assess, prioritize, and schedule maintenance requests to guarantee prompt completion of all repair tasks.

Consistently monitor assigned machinery for necessary repairs and maintenance. Generate maintenance repair requests as needed.


Offer technical support to company staff engaged in the following areas: correct equipment operation, effective use of maintenance manuals and schematics, efficient troubleshooting, and proper maintenance and repair of designated machinery.

Maintain and update all essential maintenance documentation.

Responsible for implementing a continuous training program for employees (as directed by the Maintenance Department Supervisor), particularly for newly assigned staff, and to enhance the skills of seasoned personnel.

Training Development:
Formulate on-the-job training programs for new hires.

Assess and document training progress.

Identify training needs for new equipment.

Execute a proactive and ongoing safety initiative that includes: inspections, training, preventive measures, and documentation.

Provide the Maintenance Department Supervisor with a comprehensive list of materials and replacement parts required on an ongoing basis.

Procurement Responsibilities:
Initiate purchase requisitions.

Generate Material Request Cards for spare parts in Maintenance Inventory Control.

Recommend necessary special tools as required.

Inform about current or potential shortages of spare parts or zero inventory levels.
