We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, including OB/Gyn, abdominal, breast, and small parts, on a scheduled or emergent basis.
Key Responsibilities- Operate 2D, M-mode, and Doppler ultrasound units with appropriate transducers to perform and adequately ascertain the location of specific organs.
- Assist physicians and/or radiologists in specialized procedures, utilizing critical thinking in daily and emergent assessment of proper protocols.
- Assess each patient for proper prep/scanning procedure for each ordered exam, following ARDMS rules and regulations.
- Must be board eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiology Technologist.
- Must be certified as a RDMS or ARRT in ABD, OB/GYN, Breast, and RVT within a time frame determined by the hiring manager and in accordance with the American College of Radiology.
- Completion of associate degree in area of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
