Advantis Medical is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in New Jersey.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
- 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field, such as radiologic technology or medical imaging.
- Current state license and certification in radiologic technology.
- A valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID.
