We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Outreach Educator to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Perinatal Outreach Program, you will provide educational and clinical support to our facilities, promoting perinatal health and care for clients, patients, and their families.
Responsibilities- Implement and instruct established curriculum to meet the needs of our service facilities
- Function as a liaison to facilitate perinatal health, care, and education
- Travel to and from facilities, loading and unloading supplies, and staying up-to-date on current evidence and research
- Assist with administrative duties, including confirming appointments and meetings, maintaining outreach inventory and supplies, and performing clerical tasks
- Graduate of a school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or an active compact license
- Minimum experience in NICU, OB/GYN, pediatrics, or women's healthcare
- Experience with group dynamics, public speaking, and/or public relations, as well as working with IT, audiovisual, and digital media
