Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in the timely and accurate completion of payrolls for assigned payroll cycles. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering and maintaining records for electronic funds transfer data and serving as a backup for the Director, Payroll & Benefit Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Enter and maintain records for electronic funds transfer data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide backup support for the Director, Payroll & Benefit Services, as needed.
  • Perform mathematical and analytical tasks, including reviewing, categorizing, and prioritizing data.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, providing guidance and assistance as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a nationally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Four years' wage-earning experience, with two years of payroll/accounting experience required.
  • Prefer experience with Ellucian (Colleague) and strong knowledge of automated payroll systems and data entry.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime on short notice when required.
