Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Lead Infant Teacher at The Green Bean LLC. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans that promote learning and development in infants and toddlers
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Document and communicate with parents through regular updates and conferences
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and research-based methods

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum of six semester hours in courses related to child care, early childhood education, and/or child development
  • Three written character references
  • Complete a background check and fingerprinting
  • Ability to maintain valid DCFS required certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field
  • At least one year experience providing care and education for young children in a group childcare setting
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Reggio Approach and documentation
