Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Repair Specialist

Crothall Healthcare, a leading provider of specialized healthcare services, is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of medical imaging equipment, including MRI machines, CT scanners, and other diagnostic devices.

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment, following established standards and manufacturer guidelines. You will also assist in diagnostic imaging cross-training of BMET technicians, confer with manufacturers' representatives, and provide emergency on-call support. With a focus on quality assurance, you will maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in biomedical equipment repair or a related field
  • Prior experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers
  • Specialized knowledge in modalities such as radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, cath. lab., linear accelerators
  • Certification (CRES) in these areas preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
