Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This position involves providing speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting students' communication needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions, both individual and group, to support students' communication development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
