Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Agency for Health Care Administration. As a Registered Nurse Specialist, you will conduct inspections of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with state licensure and federal certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of healthcare facilities to evaluate compliance with state licensure and federal certification requirements
  • Document findings and complete written reports of survey findings
  • May be required to perform surveys as an individual, team member, or team leader
  • Must be proficient with computer equipment and software programs, such as Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as smartphone technology
  • Must be available to work before and after normal work hours, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464
  • Two years of licensed professional nursing experience
  • Ability to interpret rules, regulations, laws, and guidelines relating to healthcare administration
  • Ability to evaluate data and make recommendations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to prepare reports
