Onshore Project Coordinator

Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Onshore Project Coordinator to oversee oil and gas initiatives. The successful candidate will possess an engineering background and a minimum of 8 years of project management experience. Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise internal engineering teams and external contractors for onshore projects
  • Engage with clients and suppliers
  • Efficiently manage time and resources
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive work execution strategies
  • Forecast and analyze project estimates, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Implement project initiation and closure procedures
  • Inspire project teams and delegate tasks effectively
  • Monitor and assess performance concerning project timelines, costs, and quality
  • Provide leadership and support for projects by overseeing design, fabrication, and installation while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental integrity
  • Possess extensive knowledge of design, fabrication, facilities, and pipeline operations within the oil and gas sector
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by Company Engineering

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in natural gas and crude oil gathering pipelines, as well as natural gas processing and storage
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a track record of managing large-scale engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including API and ASME
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex engineering and project management challenges
  • Experience in developing and managing project budgets and timelines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects concurrently
