Job Summary: RQ Construction is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Fabricators to join our team for ongoing work on commercial and governmental projects. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment in accordance with relevant codes and industry standards.
- Work on active construction sites, ensuring that work is done safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Perform technical tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling ductwork and HVAC equipment.
- Implement safety practices and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4 or more years of experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
