Mold Setter

About the Role

At Berry Global, we're looking for a skilled Mold Setter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and ability to work safely will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Check mold changing schedules to ensure molds are ready for use
• Remove and re-hang breakdowns, and change molds according to guidelines
• Clean machines and part drop areas after mold changes
• Maintain stat boxes in operational order and inspect water and air hoses
• Enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic trouble-shooting skills and ability to apply knowledge
• Ability to lift 50 pounds a minimum of 4 times per mold change
• Ability to work at heights and climb ladders safely
• Verbal communication skills to use a radio and paging system
