Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Regional Medical Imaging. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety in our MRI department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and obtain pertinent exam history.
  • Perform studies following protocols requested by the Radiologist and/or Referring Physician.
  • Gain IV access or perform injections as needed.
  • Display competency with RIS and PACS systems.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT accredited college or technical school.
  • One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in MRI.
  • Certification in CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens.
Work Environment

Our MRI department is a well-lit, comfortable working environment. You will work in a high magnetic field area and may be exposed to patients with infectious diseases. You may also be exposed to hazardous materials per department/MSDS listing.
