Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Telehealth Specialist to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a Telehealth Specialist, you will play a critical role in monitoring and facilitating patient care activities at our unit nursing station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients in ICU and other areas of the hospital
  • Communicate changes promptly and accurately to nursing staff
  • Act as a receptionist and provide prompt and courteous service to patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • Perform routine administrative and clerical duties at the unit nursing station
Requirements
  • Experience in administrative support and/or receptionist duties
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a stressful environment
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use a multi-line phone system
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred medical clerical experience and medical terminology
  • Previous experience in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
  • Technical training in medical transcription or medical office assistant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, healthcare patient records/scheduling/billing/order systems, and/or an electronic health record system
