Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing Process Execution: Participate in the execution of the testing process in compliance with the Quality Assurance testing plan, ensuring that all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Automated Testing Tools: Manage, enhance, and update proprietary automated testing tools and environment to ensure smooth operation, ensuring that all testing tools are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Test Planning and Case Generation: Proactively participate in the review process of functional specifications and interface specifications for the purpose of test planning and generating test cases, ensuring that all test cases are comprehensive and accurate.
  • Test Tracking and Remediation: Track test case failures, track remediation efforts, and validate results, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Effective analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, with experience in Quality Assurance testing process and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using the LINUX command line interface and shell scripting languages such as Bash, with knowledge of other scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc. a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing, with 3+ years of experience with automated testing tools, and 1+ years of testing in a trading environment a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science.
