We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) for space-bound systems. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on mixed-signal and RF system design.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced digital and RF PCBs for space applications, ensuring robust performance under extreme conditions.
  • Lead mixed-signal and RF systems design, including link budget analysis and system optimization.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of PCB development, from conceptual design to hardware implementation and testing.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new boards, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliability and compliance with space standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs with other system components.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years focused on designing PCBs for space applications.
  • Profound expertise in mixed-signal and RF system design.
  • Proven experience in bringing up and testing new boards.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government, due to the nature of the work involving sensitive technology.
  • Willingness to relocate to Northern Virginia.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, startup environment.
