Position Title: Field Service Technician

Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Department: Field Service

Location: Onsite at customer facilities

Position Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will focus on the maintenance and service of fuel cell systems utilized in electric lift trucks. Your role will involve performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, installing, servicing, and ensuring the optimal performance of fuel cells, while also facilitating communication with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Fuel Cell Maintenance: Ensure fuel cells are operating efficiently at customer locations.Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Resolve issues to maintain smooth operations of the fleet.Service Procedures: Execute retrofits and upgrades as necessary.Emergency Support: Provide assistance to customers during critical situations.Parts and Tools Management: Keep track of service-related resources.High-Pressure System Management: Oversee the handling of high-pressure systems.Customer Relations: Maintain effective communication with clients and suppliers.Performance Reporting: Deliver updates regarding fuel cell functionality.Documentation: Complete required administrative tasks.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols.Travel Requirements: Travel as necessary for service needs.Professional Conduct: Represent the company in a professional manner.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.Licenses: Valid driver's license required.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with lift truck operations.Skills: Proficient in computer use and possess strong interpersonal skills.Attributes: Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and reliability.Tools: Must provide a standard set of tools.Compensation: Competitive pay rate offered.
