Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is a key member of our interdisciplinary team at Triple Creek Retirement Community. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Licenses and Certifications

To be successful in this role, you must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification. A current valid CPR certification is also preferred.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program. 0-1 years of experience is ideal, but not required.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
  • Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
  • Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
