Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment, treatment, and program planning for residents, ensuring their optimal recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provides physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Assists in evaluations at appropriate intervals under the direction of the physical therapist.
  • Maintains and completes accurate documentation, department records, and reports.
  • Works collaboratively with the physical therapist to identify a problem list, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plan.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an active state license or be license eligible and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license type. An associate degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is also required.
