We are seeking a highly skilled Incoming Quality Inspector to join our team at Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida.
Job Summary:The Incoming Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting components, materials, and products into the Repair Station Quality System, ensuring compliance with purchase order, repair order, and work order requirements, including certification documents.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform shipping/receiving inspections in compliance with company Quality Manuals and Procedures.
- Perform complete shipping/receiving inspections in compliance with governmental regulatory procedures and specifications.
- Use electrostatic protection type equipment.
- Perform inspections of incoming purchased parts and products.
- Be familiar with relative FAA/EASA regulations and requirements.
- Prepare necessary customer and/or company documents.
- Complete and maintain reports and records as required.
- Assist other personnel on specific job assignments as requested by the Materials & Purchasing Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- May perform inspections of outgoing parts and products from DAS.
- May perform as received material Burn testing.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Provide backup support to Material Warehouse personnel, as needed.
- Provide backup support to Tool Room personnel, as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in an aircraft or aeronautical environment.
- Hazardous Shipping Certified.
- Must have working knowledge of Quality Inspection processes and procedures.
- Must possess above average verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must possess well-developed critical thinking, logic, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work from heights or small, enclosed areas for short periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and/or work from unleveled surfaces with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must possess computer literacy with the ability to learn new applications.
- Highly motivated individual who can work unsupervised for an extended period.
- Must be able to lift to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Team player that exhibits and models Dassault Falcon Jet Core Values & Attributes.
- Previous FAA Repairman's Certificate.
- Previous Quality Control experience.
- Corridor software experience.
- Forklift experience.
