Jail Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Corrections Cadet. As a Corrections Cadet, you will assist jail personnel in the daily operations of the Mobile County Metro Jail, ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of staff and inmates.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the jail
- Provide support to jail personnel in daily operations
- Assist with the supervision of inmates
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test
- Preferably some experience dealing with the public under varying circumstances
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Must be at least 18 years of age and not have reached age 21
As a Corrections Cadet, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility. You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
