Paint Technician

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team at Amtec Contract. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for prime and paint, cleaning and maintaining the spray booth and paint equipment, and assisting other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply coating with electric static airless spray guns.
• Maintain painting equipment, including making minor repairs and ensuring proper supplies are on hand to complete assigned tasks.
• Work effectively as a member of a team, while continuously striving to improve and develop individual skills and knowledge.
• Apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in a manufacturing environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules.
• Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of surface preparation, including sanding surfaces, applying filler, and removing imperfections.
• Operate various pieces of equipment, such as forklifts, spray guns, and other specialty equipment.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
