The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a skilled Lymphedema Therapist to join our team. As a lymphedema therapist, you will work closely with patients to assess, treat, and manage lymphedema symptoms. Your expertise will be essential in developing personalized treatment plans, educating patients on self-management techniques, and monitoring progress.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients for lymphedema or risk factors for lymphedema
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, and exercise prescription
- Educate patients on self-management techniques, including skin hygiene, exercise, and lifestyle modifications
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- NYS Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy License
- Lymphedema Therapist Certification
- BLS within 30 days of hire
