At Corning, we're shaping the future through innovation and collaboration. As a Mechanical Engineer - Materials Science Researcher, you'll play a key role in our research and development efforts, exploring the contact damage and fatigue resistance of oxide glasses and colloidal materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical properties of materials, with a desire to perform hands-on experiments and solve fundamental and applied problems in glass science and glass fracture. Experience in performing hands-on experiments in a laboratory setting is a plus.
