We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Safety Leadership Role candidate to join our team at LCMC Health. As a supervisor of security officers, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

About the Job

This is a leadership role that requires a unique blend of security expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will be responsible for supervising a team of security officers, ensuring that they have the training and resources they need to perform their duties effectively.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining high visibility throughout the hospital, including the exterior, interior, and emergency room patrol. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that all shift supervisory duties are completed error-free and on-time.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in Security/Law Enforcement - Hospital Public Safety.
  • A certification in Basic Life Support HeartSaver & First Aid from the American Heart Association.
  • A certification in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention from the Crisis Prevention Institute.
  • A Defensive Driving Certification.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
