We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular testing to support the diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct non-invasive vascular testing under general supervision and according to established procedures.
- Provide complete and accurate written and verbal preliminary reports for physician review.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Explain test procedures to patients and/or family members, addressing any concerns or fears.
- Interview patients to gather and record pertinent personal and medical information, performing physical examinations as needed.
- Perform clinical assessments and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations that meet the expectations of the reading Vascular Surgeon.
- Follow established protocols and procedures, adapting to patient care from neonatal to geriatric.
- May serve as mentor/preceptor to new hire and/or student, assisting in performance improvement activities.
- Associate Degree in Applied Science of Vascular Technology or completion of an accredited Vascular Sonography program.
- Registered through ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).
- 6-12 months related experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
