Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular testing to support the diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct non-invasive vascular testing under general supervision and according to established procedures.
  • Provide complete and accurate written and verbal preliminary reports for physician review.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Explain test procedures to patients and/or family members, addressing any concerns or fears.
  • Interview patients to gather and record pertinent personal and medical information, performing physical examinations as needed.
  • Perform clinical assessments and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations that meet the expectations of the reading Vascular Surgeon.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures, adapting to patient care from neonatal to geriatric.
  • May serve as mentor/preceptor to new hire and/or student, assisting in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science of Vascular Technology or completion of an accredited Vascular Sonography program.
  • Registered through ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).
  • 6-12 months related experience preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
