About the Role

MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Linen Technician to join our team in the Laundry department. As a Linen Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, and deliver linens to various departments within the hospital.
• Stamp and label linens according to hospital protocols.
• Perform basic mending and repair of linens as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the laundry team to ensure efficient and effective linen processing.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
