Job Summary

LewisGale Medical Center is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures using advanced equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determines if additional imaging is required.
  • Communicate procedure information to radiologists and provide high-quality images.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Requirements

To be successful as an MRI Technologist, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current Virginia State license and ARRT registration.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist and certification by the ARRT in MRI.
