Emergency Department Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cultural needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Medication Administration and Management: Safely administer medications and manage patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Emergency Response and Critical Thinking: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, using critical thinking skills to make sound decisions and prioritize patient care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut or meets requirements for reciprocity.
- Certifications: Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification, ACLS/PALS preferred, TNCC and CEN preferred.
