Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Refueling Technician is to ensure that all tractors and trailers are adequately fueled upon their return to the yard. This role requires exceptional organizational skills to effectively track, monitor, and measure the fuel dispensed into each unit. Maintaining precise nightly records is essential to guarantee that all vehicles are fueled promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily fuel island safety inspections on the fleet.
• Refuel tractors and trailers efficiently.
• Monitor and check oil levels in all equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel usage.
• Perform minor cleaning tasks on the fleet as needed.

Work Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday with a flexible start time between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is between $24.00 and $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. The Judge Group values its employees and offers a range of benefits that recognize and reward hard work.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred; must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
2. Basic math skills are required.
3. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A, is preferred.
4. Must meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate all necessary equipment and tools.
• Commitment to performing all job functions safely.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and required overtime.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) related to job materials.
• Ability to apply tire chains and back up trailers within a week.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Adherence to all safety practices and company policies is mandatory.

Compensation Details:

The expected compensation for this role is between $24.00 and $25.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime compensation and shift differentials.
