Qualifications:- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a coffee-related role within the service industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Required certifications and identification as mandated by the U.S. Department of Justice for employment eligibility. Must maintain valid TABC Certification and Food Handler Certification.
- Proficiency in the primary language(s) of the workplace, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with colleagues and management.
- Familiarity with various computer programs, including Property Management Systems and Point of Sale systems.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all operational standards, policies, procedures, training materials, and verbal instructions.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code standards, including wearing the designated uniform and appropriate footwear.
- Curate a community-friendly music atmosphere, ensuring appropriateness in selections.
- Show respect towards colleagues, customers, and the work environment.
- Verify patrons' identification to confirm compliance with age restrictions for alcohol consumption.
- Provide detailed explanations of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.
- Process orders for food and beverages, ensuring accuracy in preparation.
- Gain proficiency in the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure precise transaction handling.
- Restock items following the First-in, First-out (FIFO) method.
- Check incoming deliveries against invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout shifts, adhering to assigned cleaning tasks.
- Facilitate open communication with all departments and management through various channels.
- Communicate time-off requests and confirm schedules with management.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe, working condition.
- Stay informed about safety issues and emergency procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every patron.
